Who is responsible for your data

This website is operated by MUZN IT, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. MUZN IT decides why and how the personal data collected through the website is used, which makes it the controller of that data for the purposes of the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). The company details are at the top of this page. For anything about your data, write to support@muznit.com.

This notice covers muznit.com. A software project, hosting service or support agreement with MUZN IT may process further data on your behalf, and that processing is described in the written agreement for it.

What we do not do

  • We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website.
  • We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
  • We do not make automated decisions about you or build profiles from your visits.
  • We do not load third-party scripts, fonts or embedded widgets.
  • We do not send marketing email unless you have asked to receive it.

Who receives your data

  • MUZN IT staff who handle enquiries, proposals, supply and support, on a need-to-know basis.
  • Service providers that host, deliver or support our systems, such as hosting, email and the network that delivers the website. They act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality and security terms.
  • Suppliers and installers, only where you accept a quotation and the work needs your contact details, for example to deliver or install hardware.
  • Authorities, where the law or a valid order requires us to disclose data.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, or follow a link to a social profile, that service handles your messages under its own terms and privacy policy.

Transfers outside the Kingdom

Form submissions are stored in MUZN IT's systems in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The network that delivers the website may handle request data, such as your IP address, on servers outside the Kingdom while pages travel to your browser. We do not otherwise transfer personal data outside the Kingdom, except where you ask us to, for example when your project is hosted in a region you choose, or where the PDPL and its regulations allow it. Where a transfer takes place we apply the safeguards the law requires and state it in the agreement for the project.

Your quote list, preferences and browser storage

Your quote list and your light or dark theme choice are stored in your browser, on your device, and are not sent to us until you submit a quote request. A short-lived record of an order confirmation is kept in the browser tab until you close it. Clearing your browser's site data removes them. The cookies page lists exactly what is stored.

How long we keep personal data

  • Enquiries and quote requests: for as long as needed to reply, to prepare and manage the quotation or contract, and then for the period the law requires us to keep business and accounting records. After that we delete the data or remove what identifies you.
  • Enquiries that do not lead to a contract: for as long as needed to answer and follow up on what you asked, after which they are deleted or de-identified.
  • Job applications: for as long as needed to assess the application and any follow-up, unless you agree that we may keep it for future roles.
  • Website server logs: for a short, limited period needed for security and fault diagnosis.
  • Project data: governed by the written agreement for the project.

Your rights

Under the PDPL you have rights over your personal data. In general terms you may:

  • be told what data we hold about you, why, and how it is processed;
  • ask for access to it and for a copy;
  • ask us to correct it if it is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete it, where the law allows;
  • withdraw your consent at any time where we rely on it, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it.

To use any of these, write to support@muznit.com from the address you used with us, saying what you want. We may need to confirm your identity before we act, and we will reply within the period the law sets. If you are not satisfied with our answer you may raise the matter with the competent authority, the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA).

How we protect it

We apply access control by role, encrypted connections to the website, separation between client deployments, backups and logging of administrative actions, and we limit access to enquiry data to the staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. The practices we describe are set out on the trust page. If you believe data has been exposed or misused, write to support@muznit.com straight away.

Children

This website is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us data, write to support@muznit.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this notice

When our practice changes we update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will say so here and, where the law requires, ask for your consent again.
